The longing grows for the forgotten anticipation in simplicity - the simplicity in inadequacies

If i could, i would barter more than was wise - just to trudge along in a muddy pathway with that companion of yore

Back when the wind deeply sighed, the moon gallantly cradled;

The world was our plaything and nature listened to us;

The earth shuddered with excitement and the skys sang to us

And time stood still, or so it seemed

But time was never all that kind; bat of an eye - yesterday became tomorrow

Standstill only in appearance, moved faster with each trudging step in reality

And now we live in tomorrow.

For tomorrow is now, but is today's tomorrow only a new yesterday?

And now i can hear the wind again, feel the moon;

Encounter the earth again and hear the sky;

So i pose a question to the reality in this dejavu

Am i still in the now or is it yesterday? Or am i just dreaming of yesterday?

For the longing grows for a feeling long gone - the feeling of not needing to long at all
