Something I wrote back in 2007. I was 16 years old, a child with a very toxic person.

Killing me with all his might,

Making me cry day to night.

What can I do?

 I lost notion of myself.

Killing me with all his force,

Don’t know what to do no more;

I am all he commands me to be.

Killing me without a trace,

And poor me inside a maze,

Searching for an exit in this dark place.

Killing me without lament, feeling not a bit of regret.

 What can I do?

He’s all I have in me.

I wonder why can I just,

Walk out of this door I must,

What can I do?

He’s all that I can see.

Killing me every day,

Destroying me in every way,

And then he swears to love me like I would do.

Leaving me with all this pain

And my efforts go in vain.

His eyes of stone don’t let him see the only truth.

Blinding me with all he needs,

Taking from me my dignity.

Now I have nothing else to call mine.

Oh killing me he doesn’t care,

What he creates is just despair,

He doesn’t know, he doesn’t see, and worse of all, he’s killing, me.
