What happens in high school relationships? Well you find someone that you think you love, that you think you're going to spend the rest of your life with. They break your heart, you learn from that mistake, blah blah blah. Two years later, you're a junior, having had so much more experience and feeling so much more mature. You find someone again, and this person just truly makes your heart jump every time your eyes meet. You love him. You're happy with him and you feel safe, you give him everything, everything you are, every part of you. It ends up being your longest relationship, which since you're in high school isn't really that long, but it still means something. He treats you like no one else has, he makes you feel special, lucky, unique. And then you go crazy. Why? Because you're a teenage girl, and you're mom's crazy, she even has crazy pills, and that's what you've grown up around. So you get paranoid, and you end up driving him away. He says he's not happy so you promise to change. Do you though? Hardly. Then he becomes distant, hostile, there's always tension now. You thought you've been doing good, but he's still not happy. Now your heart's just breaking. There's been too much hurt. Just back and forth, up and down, too many emotions, too much pain. So you make a decision... tomorrow you're going to end the relationship. You spend all night rehearsing. Here's what you came up with: “I'm gonna make it easy for you, even though it's harder for me... We're done. Now go be happy” How does that sound? Heartbreaking. To you at least, but what about to him? All you want is for him to fight back. For him to grab you and say he's only happy when he's with you. But you know deep down that only happens in the movies. Is this a movie? I wish. High school sucks. Relationships suck. Love sucks. So you decide to turn to no more relationships, you're gonna try out that whole friends with benefits thing. But you're not serious. You're not like that, you just can't be. So what do you do? Just stay alone? That sounds simple, but it's not. Next year you're gonna fall for someone else who seems like the one, but they're just going to break your heart. Except you gotta remember that you can't keep blaming it on them, you're the one who's driving them away. You're the crazy one. But you can't fix it. And all you want in life is to get married and start a family, all you want is to be a mother. But how are you going to find someone to marry if all you do is drive every man mad? You can't have kids then. You can't have what you want. Then what's the point? What's the point in living? Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt myself. Been there, done that. How did this go from high school relationships to not living?

Because that's what high school does to you.
