My neighbors were shooting fireworks and the sound echoed through the neighborhood, bouncing of the houses and trees. It was beautiful, and needed words to express that.

P.S sorry about the cover, I'm going to work on that.

Ruby sprinted down the road, anticipation making her excited and impatient. She stopped at the fork in the road, having to work through her emotions and remember which way to go. As she turned left, the first firework fizzled into the sky and blinked glitter for a moment, before deciding to wink out. Ruby ran faster. At last she reached her spot from which she watched the fireworks every year, an old tree that she had climbed numerous times. Just as she settled in, a dazzling white orb snaked upward, its glittering golden tail trailing behind. As the orb reached the sky, a deafining roll of noise crashed into the neighborhood. The white ball blasted into a hundred glittering gold-and-white shards. As the color faded away, the blast sound hung in the air, reminding everyone of its colorful fire and powerful sound. The next firework exploded in a rounded pattern, with red and white flying about. Each time the blast lingered, echoing in a beautiful way, leaving a completely unexpected emotion of peace and joy flowing through Ruby. She sat and watched until the fireworks ended. As she walked home, the fireworks thundering cry rang around her head. Bright, exploding colors danced through her dreams that night.
