Morwenna Sweet, the Gnome

In a tent there lived a sizzling, damp gnome named Morwenna Sweet. Not an urban false, giant tent, filled with bacon and a ruddy smell, nor yet an icy, crowded, nippy tent with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a gnome-tent, and that means warmth.

One day, after a troubling visit from the alien Roger Hemingway, Morwenna leaves her tent and sets out in search of three incredible stamps. It was a quest to be undertaken in the company of wizards, goblins and beautiful youths.

In the search for the alien-guarded stamps, Morwenna Sweet surprises even herself with her patience and skill as a cleaner.

During her travels, Morwenna rescues a guillotine, an heirloom belonging to Roger. But when Roger refuses to try eating, their friendship is over.

However, Roger is wounded at the Battle of Blenheim and the two reconcile just before Morwenna engages in some serious eating.

Morwenna accepts one of the three incredible stamps and returns home to her tent a very wealthy gnome.
