From the confines of a tower filled with gold and riches

I escape to gather bundles of wood in the forest

Explosions of airborne embers in my heart

Engulfed by the warmth of flames in the dark

I escaped to gather bundles of wood in the forest

“Who are you to carve my fate in this tower made of stone?”

Engulfed by the warmth of flames in the dark

“Do you feel the blazing fire in my heart?”

“Who are you to carve my fate in this tower made of stone?”

My eyes adjust to the flicker in the gloom

“Do you feel the blazing fire in my heart?”

Join me in my venture through the forest

Let your eyes adjust to the flicker in the gloom

You’re dreaming of a daughter that I’m not;

Join me in my venture through the forest

I stoke the fire to keep me warm

You’re dreaming of a daughter that I’m not

Explosions of airborne embers in my heart

I stoke the fire to keep me warm, and

Burn down your tower filled with gold and riches
