The Day The Angel Came To Me

Once I saw an angel above me as I lay in my bed. He looked down on me and smiled. His eyes lit up and flecks of gold and silver were around his head and arms. His hair was golden and brighter than the sun. He moved with ease and grace. His love for me was clear to see. He had come to protect me and help me to reach the gates of heaven. My time on earth was to be no more and my angel had come to carry me home.

As I gazed up,I became lighter and floated towards him. My arms and legs felt light and my heart was full of energy and warmth. Before I reached my angels arms, I looked down on my body I had left behind. It had served me well. I had been to, and traveled to many places. I had met the love of my life, had three children and four grandchildren. I had finally made peace with myself and my loved ones. I was now ready to go and as I had one more thought about my life, my angel took me in his arms and guided me to heaven.

Reunited With My Loved Ones

There waiting for me was the women who I had seen go to heaven before me. She was wearing the same dress she had worn the day we met. Her hair was short, but curly. Her smile was exactly the same.

She ran towards me and we hugged for what seemed like an eternity. She said, “I have waited for you my love to come to me, we are finally reunited and nothing will ever tear us apart again.”

As we walked the clouds became thicker and we both vanished forever.
