A Spiral (Part One)

Emptiness
Never felt more fulfilling
This distance
Never felt so close
It's vicarious (so it's said)
It's natural
At all times
You should've just felt it

My answer lies in this space
So ancient and dismal
I wish I knew it
But it's not for our minds
So says the monolith

Gone but not truly
Can't kill something that's already dead

A shape
Ever-shifting
Is present
Dwelling inside
In who do we believe again?
Shine this light on me
Bring the sun onto sight
So I may know fate

A spiral
A spiral is being left behind
In a constant
In a constant cycle
