Slowly

Now that I’m gone, how are you?

It’s been a very long time, I must say

Every now and then, I think of you

And lately, I’ve been doing that every day

I wonder if you’ve found someone new

Deep down, because of love, I pray

That at the end, I’ll be able to pull through

Somehow, I hope I’ll find my way

You were the reason I was so worried

Our love was everlasting, but you won’t answer

Did I say something? I guess we hurried

In a sweet waltz dance but you’re no dancer

I need to know if we’ll be back together

Because anytime, I break down and I think

“I’m gonna be alone, despite that clear weather”

And slowly, I’ll dive and my confidence will shrink

I hope there’s a hope that I’m the only one

The one who can take care of you and love you more

More than your best friends, more than anyone

I want to be the one who can heal your every sore

If you don’t love me anymore, at least I’ll know

But I can’t go on like this and doubt everything

Because my life’s a mess, despair will grow

And I want to be with more than anything
