The whole world engulfed in darkness,

Bathed in the soft and silver glow

Of all the stars and planets in the galaxy,

The full moon as bright as the sun.

The milky way streaks across the land,

As distant planets dot the sky.

The stars of my birthright shine above me,

On this cool, summer night.

The death of a star brightens the sky,

As meteors begin to fall.

Just right of the Ethiopian Queen,

Andromeda faintly glows, in the distance.

Our solar system lies in Orion’s Arm,

Shrouded in clouds of cosmic dust.

Near the Archer and the Scorpion,

Is where Sagittarius A* lies.

All the stars, planets, comets and galaxies,

Light up the world like it was daytime.

The stars of my birthright shine above me,

On this cool, summer night.
