Unconditionally

Poem by: Corine Pelletier
Unconditionally,
Irrevocably,
Eternally,
in love with you.
We’ve never met.
But, I know that the moment that I’ll lay my eyes on you,
you’ll steal my heart.
You’ll teach me the meaning of bravery and strength.
I’m afraid that that’s asking a lot of you.
You who’s first breath will be a miracle.
Fragile, weak and soft.
Yet, you know what you want,
and you’ll stop at nothing to scream it out loud.
Food, warmth and sleep, you’ll demand.
If the honor of meeting you is mine,
I’ll obey your every command.
Because I am,
unconditionally,
irrevocably,
eternally,
in love with you.

Eternally a good poem!
Very sweet poem...Tom...
Tells it how it should be. Nice one, Corine!
Sounds a lot like something I've read before, Corine. Has this ever left Booksie by chance? Like a magazine article or something. If not, then maybe it was just something really similar or either I read this before and just now read it again. It's really good though. Maybe this one should be published beyond Booksie.
