A Mission Failed

My love spends hours baking in the sun
for a reason, not just for having fun.
she really hates her skin being so dun,
and wants to look far more glamorous.

Around and around she turns, and sighs
as the rays slowly burn her dimpled thighs,
which cause me to tell her some gentle lies,
but fail to make me more amorous.
