In March 2004 Kostas Karamanlis was elected prime minister of Hellas with the New Democracy party. He wonthe elections of September 2007 and lost the elections of October 2009.

The downfall of Mr.Karamanlis was minister of Public Order Viron Polidoras.Just before March 2007, Mr.Polidoras stated that it was time for their children to eat.Kostas Karamanlis saw the danger in front him, but did not pay attention. He chose not to make desicions.Because it was during Mr.Polidoras's office as minister of Public Order that a Cypriot student was beaten badly by police officers in Thessaloniki in the so called "zardiniera incident", as a flower stone case was involved.Later, during the fires of August- September 2007 that Hellas was burned, it was Mr.Polidoras that had waondered if green burns green, in a provocative colourizarion of political debate with the opposition.Mr.Polidoras was removed from office after September 2007 elections, but the crown of Kostas Karamanlis reforms, the revision of the Hellenic Constitution was rejected due to the oppositions's denial of reforming article 24 of Hellenic Constitution which had to do with the protection of enviroment.Politically, Kostas Karamanlis's defeat locked, with the murder of Alexandros Grigoropoulos.Perhaps throwing fire at an authorised armed policeman was not a good idea, but the fact of murder happened from the reaction of the physical perpetrator. In every crime however, the existence of a moral cohort is investigated and in this case, it was no other than the political legacy of the anti-human rights approach of ex-minister of Public Order Mr.Polidoras.And Hellas was burned for a second time.

Alexis Tsipras was elected prime minister of Hellas, in January 2015 elections and won the Seprember 2015 elctions.Promising a renegotiaton of the Memorandom, the prime minister listened to his minister of Economics Yanis Varoufakis to a prolonged negotiation strategy, when Hellas had, during the next three Junes, 7 billions Euros worth of bonds to pay and did not have the money. The short-sighted overspending strategy (besides money, more importantly time) of Yanis Varoufakis, was the cause of Alexis Tsipras's forced signing of the third Memorandum. There will not be a fourth Memorandum, as during the coming elections of January 2018, after the withdrawal of Anexartiiti Ellines(Independent Hellenes), there will be a political change. Some people learn from the mistakes of the past better.
