"I had five children who were my world and the sixth brought ruin to them all."

Strange creatures appeared in front of children one day. They looked like animals, however, each could communicate mentally to the human they appeared beside. They were connected. Yet nothing was known about them and the only remaining knowledge warned of evil. Still, people sought out answers. Though what dangers lie there? What true darkness awaits? And why despite all knowledge does one girl's Guardian go against it all? Is she the key? Or is she connected to the darkness that holds these creatures silent?
