Just a random poem I wrote a while ago. Not my best, but I haven't posted any new content in ages (this is probably the first in 2017 I've posted). Enjoy! :)

Blissful Morning Sunrise

Waking to blissful morning sunrise,

Droplets of fog dotting the air

Through splashes of colour, so rare

In a town where gloominess is no surprise.

The scent of dew upon each flower

Contributing to the glorious early-morning sight,

The sun in the sky, reaching maximum height

Following the waking hour.

Intricate pinks and oranges paint the sky

To kiss the white moonlight gone,

And instead greet the light of dawn

With every hello and goodbye.
