“Go away! Can’t I ever just get 5 minutes to myself so I can shit and piss in peace?!” Summer yelled through the closed-door of her bathroom. Her five-year old twin daughters wouldn’t need their mom until she went into the bathroom. Then whatever it was they needed became so important it was like they were getting attacked by sharks. Sometimes Summer would go into the bathroom just to get away from the girls, it had nothing to do with her marijuana pipe that was hidden up in her bathroom medicine cabinet next to her wedding ring. Summer recently got divorced from her husband of seven years. She never thought she would be raising her two girls alone, plus work full-time. Josh, the ex husband, cheated on her with the 18-year-old neighbor. She had just turned 18 when Summer caught her giving her husband a blow job behind the bush on the side of the house. Later finding out they had been fucking since she was 17 years old.

“Cough, cough.” As she takes a puff off the pipe. “Girls I’ll be right out, just rock, paper, scissors to see who gets glitter hair Barbie.” Summer breathes in deep and walks into battle, head up high, you can’t look tired around the twins. They will see your weakness and take advantage of it. One afternoon Summer took a 30 minute power nap on the sofa and she woke up to a phone call from Don’s, the pizza place around the corner. They said Stella & Molly called and acted like their mom ordering 20 cheese pizzas for a surprise party.

As Summer walks into her daughter’s room they are both pulling on the glitter Barbie. “I don’t get why they like that fucking ugly ass barbie. Her tits are WAY too big for that tiny waist, her hair is colored every color in the rainbow, and her body is all glitter. I really think she’s stripper barbie, who on earth would walk around with that much body glitter?!” Summer thought in her head as she stared at Stella and Molly crying over the stupid barbie. “No one gets the barbie!” Summer says as she grabs the barbie and holds it up high. The girls cry even louder, as they try to jump and get the barbie from their mom. “Enough!” Suddenly they stop crying and bow their heads and pout. “Stay in your room until dinner is ready, you two need to have some quite time, so grab a book.” Summer tells the girls as she walks out the door, leaving it slightly cracked.

She walks into the kitchen and pushes her foot on the lever to open the trash can. In she tosses the ugly glitter Barbie. She knows the girls will be mad, but she doesn’t care, its time to crack down on the girls. Its been a few months so she knows they are still sore over the divorce. She always wonders about who else her husband fucked while they were married. After seeing her husband with the slutty neighbor, she couldn’t help but wonder if it was some how her fault. Being a doctor is a lot of long restless hours, but Summer loved what she did. Josh on the other hand didn’t like her working such long hours. While Summer worked he was home with the girls a lot on top of working his part-time job as a private chef. No marriage is easy, but if you truly love someone you will do everything in your power to make it work and make them happy. That was Summer, she tried to make Josh happy every day. Always falling short in his eyes, she was never good enough. So maybe the divorce wasn’t her fault, but in fact it was bound to happen sooner or later. After tossing the doll into the trash there is a knock at the front door. Looking puzzled, Summer heads to the door to see who it could be at 8 o’clock at night. She wasn’t expecting anyone, and walked quietly. Looking into the peep-hole she sees that no one is there. Again looking puzzled, she then hears a horrible scream from her daughters bedroom. Darting down the hall as fast as her legs can run, she continues to hear the screams, she stumbles into the twins room.
