If I could tell my younger writing self anything I would tell her to be confidant in who you are as a writer, and have faith in your abilites. Don't compare yourself to other writers, because everyone has different writing styles and some have had experince in publishing. The first most important thing that you should know is you have to accept creative criticism, espically from other writers and those who are in the field of editing. The thing about creative criticism is that it helps you grow as a writer, and whenever you see your writing complete you want to protect it from what people might say, but in the end it's for a good cause. The second thing is write with your own voice don't try to be anyone else, the person you are will show up in your writing and that is all you need to be.

Lastly to my younger writing self this is your passion keep doing it, because you will have your critics and those that don't believe you, but your biggest obsitical is yourself don't give up.
