We’ve done this many times over—breaking and mending the ribbons of fate eternally tangled around our hearts

It’s a hopeless cycle of passion and pain; the conclusion of which shall bring us no gain

We’re bad for our health, and we’re making a mess—unredeemable

It’s a pity we meet under poor circumstance

Licking these wounds will leave our mouths bloody; so instead we will fester in each other’s arms

You’ll watch me rot as you fall apart; you’ll love me to death and then back to the start

It makes little sense—the things that we do

We tell the world lies, but here…we stay true
