A poem about a girl who is frightened, who does not know her own power. She has this amazing light and warrior inside her. She just needs to unlock it.

She never doubted her doubt about her self doubt but what got her was not being able to change, to grow and explore herself. This made her skeptical, cynical and the worst of all identical.

She was aware of what shaped her. She was weary of what she have become. Even more, she was afraid of what she might become. She saw many roads and did not know which to take, much less on which one she was.

All that was apparent to her, was the fire. One she knew burned inside her. The power to run her life, the power to accomplish her goals and a fire with which she could spark greatness in others. A fire so bright, so powerful, but locked away.

She did not know how to unleash herself. She did not know how to mighty. She forgot how to be happy…

None the less she starred her demons down. Knowing she could face them. Just not knowing how.

She forgot how to trust. How to feel more than feelings. How to be more than a image.
