I know your kind—serious and grim, not one to fool around or make mistakes

You’re perfectly composed with an impeccable record; your conscience is clean and your hands are sterile

To put it frankly, you’re what I call an antiquated anomaly—an archaic oddity born at the wrong time, stuck in the wrong age

You value virtue, and still think chastity is a prize; it’s inevitably a curse to seek a thing so rare to find

You want a doll, a figurine to look pretty on your shelf; you want a maid, a sweetish dame to hang on your every word

You don’t need wits to match your own; you conceal your violent tendencies

It’s what you repress beneath the surface that boils through cracks only I can see

I know your kind—a silent bomb, a careful kill, a deadly asp; you pay attention to the details and leave no prints within the frame

I know your kind—a stony face in a smoky booth; you always plan ten steps ahead as you lay the perfect trap

Conversation is unneeded—I know your wants inherently

You’re not the first I’ve known so well, and you certainly won’t be the last
