If I could understand your secret maybe I could resist. Maybe I could look at you and feel nothing. Maybe I could walk away and never look back. If I knew how you held such a tight grip on my heart maybe I could break free. Maybe I could forget that anything between us ever happened. Because now I sit here lost and confused. Wondering everyday if this is all there is to my life. Wondering if I am capable of receiving more. Wondering if I could be happy with someone else or even alone. Maybe I should try. Try to make it without you. Because with you I'm hurting and well, without you, I wouldn't even know because it's been about you for so long. But maybe.....You'll change.. Ugh! I do this every time. I try to imagine a life without you and I'm afraid. I want to show you I won't stand for what you put me through. But what if I fall back too far and you don't pull me back? I'm just too terrified to lose you. You've been my life, my world, my happiness and my sunshine. But now, you're just here. I'm just here. We're just here. And maybe.....somewhere else is a better place for us to be
