I stop to listen

Words touch my heart

My eyes start to glisten

The past is about to start

I know the theme

It comes from me

Even if the dream

I became blind to see

Each pause a sign

Each note can remind

Me of her sleek design

Enchantress redesigned

Who is to blame

Me or the song?

I listened with no aim

Or was I wrong?

I leave it to my lips

That touch the nerve

Of my heart and eclipse

The feelings I deserve

Even though I forget

The tune rewinds

The taste of regret

That the heart refines

I know it’s a feeling

Or just a bit more

Because it is revealing

A secret store
