You don’t believe me, and I don’t blame you; I used to be a liar and lived to deny whatever seemed true

It didn’t matter to me if I deceived and destroyed, trust never was that important to me

It’s ironic that now the thing I desire, is the very last thing I thought I’d ever require

When did I become such a horrible wreck?

It was when I did lose all your faith and respect

I felt it was granted in me you would hope, and I tested how far I could push till you broke

The consequence of such blind indiscretion, has taught me a hard learned, sobering lesson

If ever you lie and then love someone true, you cannot think ill when they don’t receive you
