A blood stained wrist,

hidden beneath a neatly tied bow.

Invisible to the naked eye,

no one can ever know.

A silk red bow,

protects her hurt and her pain.

A pretty little picture,

repeated time and time again.

Perfectly sliced skin,

due to her heart being broken.

Whispered about daily,

Her self-esteem stolen.

This bow hides her feelings,

each cut has a meaning.

Bullied being her daily struggle,

the results cause her bleeding.

Self-conflict leaves her fighting,

inner thoughts within her mind.

Confused between the two desires,

but it's this ribbon that she finds.

This ribbon is her comfort,

when your words are spoken deep.

Touching every point of her soul,

this secret she can't keep.

This once clean red bow,

is now coloured maroon.

Drenched from the blood,

she continued too soon.

Her pain it took over,

filled with tears in her eyes.

Hurting from the selfish comments,

such false accusations and lies.

Her Soul it grew smaller,

the mountains of hurt became steeper.

Her vision slightly blinded,

the blades sank in deeper.

You taunted her whole life,

not knowing her story.

Her punishment was your satisfaction.

not once was you sorry.

A blood stained wrist,

no longer hidden by the bow.

Although gripped by her hand,

no sign of letting go.

This silk red bow,

was her closest friend.

locking away her darkest secret,

always with her until...

THE END.
