A lump of clay, lifeless,

Waiting for God's breath.

Naked, without any dress,

When woken, will face death.

Joined as man and woman,

Into one flesh.

The will be both human,

Like a complicted mesh.

Joined to the rib,

They must be parted.

With the help of a gib

To complete what God started.

Now they're two,

Man and wife.

It is true,

That there'll be trouble and strife.

The two will populate the earth,

From just a single sperm.

Their children will go forth,

Spreading love, hate, and germ.
