The whole world is burning,

And I alone, stand at the center.

The sand below stained crimson,

A hell you won’t want to enter.

The earth shakes with growing violence,

As oceans drown the coastline.

Cities abandoned, filled with quietness,

As Everybody’s gone to the rapture.

Raging storms keep me awake all night,

As the lightning crackles, and the thunder booms.

The end of the world is in sight,

As the embers of life are stamped into ash.

Everything I know, smashed into rubble,

All life on earth, will cease to exist.

Nowhere to run, not even a space shuttle,

The extinction event is inevitable.

The whole world is on fire,

And I alone, stand at the center.

Only minutes before our time expires,

As the embers of life, are stamped into ash.
