The Move She Didn't Make

I can't continue to be this way

I am a slave to getting fucked over

But I can't continue

The steam roller of time

Runs all over me now

She's gone

And will never return

I should have sen this coming

But as stupid as I didn't

It happened

And now I've lost it

I've lost touch with the world

I've lost touch with life around me

And now I'm beginning to think

That thee only thing wrong with me

Is "ev'rything"

She left me alone

To be with myself

While she tries

__to work on herself

I could eat potato chips all day

But she'd still be gone

I could complain on the 'phone

__to any one I want

But that won't bring her back

The devil played a trick on me

And now I have to pay the price

Dropping like a softball

__out of the sky

I stand up and die

She never made a move

So I obviously have no game

I lose everybody this way

It's nothing new

I knew it wasn't forever

I just had better ideas

Than losing her forever

I go to Hell and die

It's so over

Wishing and praying could never change that

So the words of pain

__run around my head

____making me sick

And the remorse of this loss

__is all I've got

The happy memories

Escape my mind

And are replaced with a void

All over again

I was compelled to not let her go

But it was her decision to leave

__from the get-go

____after she finds a place to live

I knew it was temporary

"Her time with me"

But, still, I feel like this

A big pile of shit

Wondering what is wrong

And wondering what I ever did to her

And I'll forever not know

Because no one can tell me

Just what's so wrong with me
