A secret agent is a government employee whose job involves getting secret information about the governments of unfriendly foreign countries, a person engaged in espionage.

Roger is a secret agent who works for the British Government. He is an intelligence officer in the Secret Intelligence Service, commonly known as MI6. His is known as James Bond, or by his code number, 007 (pronounced "double-oh-seven"), and was a Royal Naval Reserve Commander. He was hired because his boss Ian Fleming was looking for someone extremely dull, uninteresting man to whom things happened.

Roger was "The Man Who Haunted Himself". He was also like "Ivanhoe" a "Maverick" of the modern era. He was "The Man with the Golden Gun" who "Live and Let Die" his enemies. He had "That Lucky Touch" made of "Gold". Before going on a mission he liked to go through the details of it on a "Crossplot".

On his first mission he had to find out about "The Sins of Rachel Cade". To make the mission easier he seduced her. They became "Sunday Lovers". And when she was about to reveal her secret sins to him, she said.

"For Your Eyes Only" I'm ready to reveal you my sins."

After listening carefully to her sins, he said.

"Quite revealing!"

On another mission he was sent to New York. He followed a guy who was wearing a disguise called "Octopussy". To see "The Naked Face" behind the disguise and discover his real identity was the goal to achieve. Being a detective was his official title in America as he worked undercover. He was a "Sherlock Holmes in New York". Roger noticed Octopussy was frequently surrounded by a woman, and decided to follow her. Once, he took a cab to trail his target. The driver who was an African American asked him.

Driver: "You know where you're heading?"

Roger: "Uptown, I believe."

Driver: "Uptown? You headed into Harlem, man!"

Roger: "Well you just stay on the tail of that jukebox and there's an extra twenty in it for you."

Driver: "Hey man, for twenty bucks I'd take you to a Ku Klux Klan cookout!"

No sooner said than done. He followed her inside the Ku Klux Klan cookout, got to know her, and seduced her. Once in bed together, after they made love, he noticed something on her back and asked.

Roger: "What's that on your back?"

The woman: "Oh, that's my little octopussy."

He discovered she was a Russian secret agent called Triple X working on the same mission as him. They decided to join forces to bring down Octopussy. When they succeeded in doing so they decided to make love to each other to celebrate the success of the mission. Unfortunately, they were caught in the act by Fleming, Roger's boss, through a hidden camera. When he got to see Roger in London at the office, he confronted him.

"She was "The Spy Who Loved Me".

Said Roger as an excuse. He received a blame, but was forgiven cause she had been essential for the mission to succeed. It was forbidden to collaborate with the Russians. But they made exceptions when it was crucial and decisive for the success of a mission. On this particular mission, Roger wouldn't have made it alone. Indeed, Octopussy was not gay, and only a female could bring him down by getting intimate with him. Whenever he was kissing a woman in bed during lovemaking was the only moment when he took off his mask.

On another mission he had to deal with a man called Kananga on a desert island. There, he met a woman called Solitaire, a beautiful taro expert. Kananga tried to kill him many times. Hopefully Roger managed to kill him before being killed. Shortly after, he met with Solitaire and she asked him about Kananga.

Solitaire: "Where's Kananga?"

Roger: "He always did have an inflated opinion of himself."

Then he seduced her -he always did when he met a beautiful woman on a mission- and he taught her the lessons of love. He has explained the first two when:

Solitaire: "Is there time before we leave for lesson number 3?"

Roger: "Of course. There's no sense going out half-cocked."

On another mission, on a "Boat Trip", he had to deal with a dangerous man called Scaramanga. He was captured and told that after dinner they shall square in a battle of assassins:

Scaramanga: "A duel between titans...my golden gun against your Walther PPK."

Roger: "One bullet versus my six?"

Scaramanga: "I only need one, Mr. Bond." "You get as much pleasure out of killing as I do, so why don't you admit it?"

Roger: "I admit killing you would be a pleasure."

Scaramanga: "Then you should have done that when you first saw me. On the other hand, the English don't consider it sporting to kill in cold blood, do they?"

Roger: "Don't count on it."

When it was time for Roger to retire, he met his successor Timothy and told him.

"Bond was escapism, but not meant to be imitated in real life."

Timothy was a good listener, he didn't last very long as a secret agent.

"So, goodnight Roger. In "Spice World" you need a "View to a Kill" to, actually, kill the "The Man Who Wouldn't Die".
