I can’t see past your face,

Every trace of you.

I want to go to sleep…

You keep me up, you do.

Your sadness weighs me down,

I drown in silent view.

I knew I had to speak

To free the likes of you.

So far gone, those tender days,

I saw you in the crowd.

Gone, oh gone are my yesterdays…

You won’t even look at me now.
