The sun melts the clouds

like ice in fire.

With her easy passion eyes

this heart beats faster.

Years have blessed the youth.

An old love so new.

My hands wilt in shame.

Like water lillies in the rain.

As the stares bask in the

dark it's rare.

To see a glimpse of light

so bare.

Cherry red ,

lips that raise the dead.

soul that has grown so old.

My weakness is underfed.

As I remove the final breaths,

from her

I catch blue tear drops.

It's because she's undone.

We are the language of

disaster and love.

I hold vengeance and lust.

The night falls

to the empty calls

from me.

Floating quiet through the trees.

I can taste the poison in my veins.

A hundred reasons .

To get down on my knees.

To set your heart free.

To lie next to me .

On the shore of the sea.

As the waves disgust

the hands of grace.

We crash like a body

with a fear we can not face.

As we feel the strain

of these gentle days.

An acronym of fate .

There's no escape.

The rivers bleed black.

From the worry of attack.

Silent like dawn.

A lover's last song.

You own a new heart to do your bidden.

So don't lie.

Don't think I don't know

that you've got secrets

you keep hidden .

You leap with me.

You weep for me .

We sleep like angels.

An infant in the cradle .

So long ,

I have a mission filled with rage. No more screams ,

I'm incomplete.

But I try.

Until the heavens collide,

I'll hold these gentle days.

Waiting to be whole again.
