Remember when I made a playlist for you?
I forgot to tell you about this body of mine.
And how it’s a scratched record.
And how I am stuck
repeating the song of your name.
Where are the angels when you are around setting my soul ablaze?
You say fix me.
So, I fall asleep while feeling my hands become tools.
Is the ocean beautiful if you are always drowning in it?
Look at me.
Pretending to be a bridge
when our love is an old bridge over high water.
Today I almost saw the wind for the first time
and understood what it’s like to go unseen.
