For the lost, for the confused

A message for the alienated and many rants.

We’re just expected to figure everything at a young age. We see the talented, the more blessed, the richer, better looking, setting the expectations and competition high. This society is success driven, end goal oriented, so the masses don’t look at life like an adventure. Either we like the same things as everyone else does or become that one outcast, the one guy or girl who nobody seems to remember, not even your name. At some point the pressure comes in to achieve because it seems everyone is passing us up, hoping into relationships, getting scholarships, that nice new job, a combo but you are sitting there wondering when something will happen for you, the next step in your life. Time and sand has something in common, they both slip through our fingertips, doing the wrong thing or simply waiting for something to happen, either way, it’s a negative. The closer we get to adulthood, the money pressure sets in, all to find out soon enough everything is overpriced, don’t make enough to make it on your own yet. It can be easy to beat yourself up because you don’t feel valuable because you cannot do big things like the select people can. Your value doesn’t come from what you can do but the impact on the people closest to you and the plan the heavens have set for you, a role you play until your last breath on this earth. Let go of the need to know every single little detail of your life and take it one moment at a time, make the most out of it. Don’t feel crappy because of failure, don’t even aim for perfection, they do not matter, only thing should matter is that you tried and hopefully improved. Come to accept the fact that you are you're beautiful and I do not mean looks, what makes you, what you stand for and so on. Oh, you fear the opinions, others not agreeing with you, well lucky for you with age, you become less bothered by it, happened to me as well. Do you know what you stand for, what makes you, what you are supposed to do? Even till the current day, I don’t even have all the answers and that’s just fine, life would be dull if you knew it all. How come you have went through such bad, tough times? Everything that has happened up until now, it is preparation for moments to come in the future. We all need different lessons, different experiences. You don’t get harmony if everyone is the same, the same life journey. What about all of the friends, have them, don’t have them? Well, either way it doesn’t matter much. Having friends doesn’t mean that you're not good enough, it’s actually the opposite, none of them are good enough to be your friend. Now it’s clear that everybody ain’t a bad influence but having none eliminates that risk. Do you make your own choices, not ones influenced by media, people, think for yourself? Have your own opinion, even if it goes against everyone else? I don’t share mine, let them come to me if they want it. Are you aware of your own faults, think you have none? Are you pointing a finger at others? I acknowledge my mistakes, do it too, it will make you grow better, even if it stings for a couple minutes, a day. Do you feel understood? I do not feel understood, no matter how I put it. Nobody fully understands the journey I went on, the pain. Throw hurtful words at me, won’t do it back, won’t play that childish game too. Let go of celebrity idols, they are human, therefore filled with flaws, why worship somebody with flaws? Worship the flawless god instead. It’s oh so very possible to pick up other people’s bad habits. A friend offers you a cigarette, then you get hooked, why take the chance? Learn what’s good for you, the harder thing usually is but keep an eye out. Want to like music nobody else likes, listen to it. Want to wear clothes nobody else is wearing, wear them. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, therefore many different opinions but none of them matters, they’re all flawed humans anyway. Are you getting taken advantage by others often, it’ll happen at some point if it didn’t already and I deal with that at times but believe in justice, believe in some form of karma, the wrath of god but you get the point. Do you feel your past was screwed up? Don’t allow what happened before to kill what will happen later. Are you cocky and think you’ll be hot stuff in the future but are not focused on now? Drop things that will destroy your remaining future. Drop drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc. What’s the point of having wealth if your health is down the gutter? Hit the gym, workout at home, go for a jog, something. Found myself having so much extra energy with my at home exercises. Just do something. Is your life falling apart, being a let down? Stop the self-sabotage, use some discipline and awareness. You were given life, so live it, nobody owed you a chance at life, so stop being selfish, ungrateful. Have you taken time out of your day to reflect on yourself? Have you tried to work on yourself, develop the best you? Or are you happy with what you’ve become, just being in denial of work needed to be done? Even with everything I know and discovered, still feel different from everyone else and that makes me feel good. I’m a limited edition, an original. In time you will find being isolated but happy with yourself actually good, stop trying to fight originality. Stop making yourself a mask to cover up the real you. You are not the only , there are plenty of them out there, even if you haven’t met them. Be you and be happy!
