The art of learning to forgive and forget is to move forward. The only way that we as people can lay our old hurts to rest, is to take a chance on someone else. It’s not important that we really know that person. I think quite the opposite, I think that to get to know someone over time is something that helps us to trust, grow and put our faith in things that we have no control over.

The thing about fear is we avoid things that make us scared, or relationships because we envisage that history will repeat itself again. So to help with this we feel more comfortable sticking with what we know, or who we know in terms of personality or even do we have friends in common. All these things are just ways to help reassure ourselves.

The real test is just allowing ourselves to fully let go and just go with the flow. Like I always say, don’t try and second guess where things are going, step back and let the universe fill in the gaps. You may have met someone who lives in a different country to you and perhaps think, so what’s the point of this we are millions of miles away. The point is we can’t see into the future. Everything in life has its own pace and we as humans have to learn to go along with that.

Some of us are not quite ready to be in a full on relationship again, so in order for that to happen we have to take things slowly and one day at a time.

Having someone to talk to is so important for all of us. People need people, we may think that were better off on our own, but really we are not. Companionship, sharing and becoming a  part of someone’s life is such an amazing thing and magical.

Even if you don’t go out much, finding someone and falling in love, is not out of the question. The universe works very hard behind the scenes to ensure that we cross paths with people.  It may even be someone across the road that you haven’t seen for a while and a life event has brought you two together. It may just be a few passing words. But the connection has been made and then the rest is up to you. Although the universe does set up meetings etc, we still have to do some of the work ourselves. Phoning someone or messaging that person to see if they are okay etc is one way that starts the ball rolling.  You may not see them again for months, and then as if by magic there they are again.

People only turn up in your life when you are ready for it. Ready to get to know someone and give them a chance to get to know you. Inviting someone round or going for coffee to break the ice is a good start.  Don’t worry if you get nervous, we all do. It’s a good sign and when you feel the nerves coming you tell yourself, I want to do this because if I don’t life will just be the same and I have the chance to change it for the better.

So if you bump into someone or see someone, maybe you are ready to move into the next dimension
