I've dreamed of heaven before, a daydream of course but still a dream....I'd awaken in the shade of a giant tree, a lion and lamb rest beside me with unlikely harmony, there's a river so clear it mirrors the sky, the winds so smooth they go through me instead of simply gracing my skin which is no more, no flesh, only soul. I looked to the sky's, there's light but no sun and it stretched for eternity, the clouds roamed low and high, I lift a hand out, it caresses itself into my hand and drifts away..... Then I see it, past the river and blankets of ember grass, a city with a path of gold in the distance.... There is no more breath just life, no more mere happiness but eternal relief of every mortal chain I had before....and upon the back of the lion, with the lamb in my arms, I approached the gates into my promised forever.
