The lights above me flickered as he pointed the shiny, sliver gun right at my racing heart. I wanted to scream but my voice seemed frozen in fear.

It all started two months ago when my identical twin, Luke, stole a diamond from Dan Western. Let me tell you something about my brother. He is a criminal. A CRIMINAL! I have been accused many times for his horrendous crimes even though he was the one who did it.

Three weeks later, I had to go to court to testify against my brother. My hands were trembling like an  earthquake. I saw my brother with his bloodshot eyes and messy black hair. I could tell he was panicking even though he was doing a good job hiding it. The next thing I knew was he was found guilty. YES! NO! My head was spinning with mixed emotions about what just happened.

A month later the police called me. "This is officer James. I called you because I wanted to tell you that your brother has broken out of prison."

"Ok," I replied.

"We spoke with his cellmates and one of them mentioned him going to killed his twin brother."

I tried to speak, but my voice seemed to disappear. Why kill me? What did I do? The police hung up.

I immediately shut the blinds and turned off the lights, not wanting and body to see me or know I was home. I went to bed shaking uncontrollably.

When I woke up the next morning I tried to pretend that nothing happened the nigth before. As the day past by I had to go back home even though I had a bad feeling about it. I drove up in the driveway and saw that my front door was open. AHHH! I screamed in my head. My footsteps creaked on the wooden floor like an old door that hadn't been used for years. "Who's there?" I demanded. No one answered. I searched my house, but found no one.

The next nigth I saw him. He was standing in the middle of my hallway. "Hello brother," Luke said. My feet started to run out of the house. I couldn't control them. It was like they had a mind of their own. I came to a dark alley. Luke was right behind me. I looked around frantically, trying to find a place to run or hide, but it was to late. He had trapped me. Why was he doing this to me? What did he want? The lights above me flickered as he pointed the shiny, sliver gun right at my racing heart. I wanted to scream but my voice seemed frozen in fear. BAM!
