This poem may be a little confusing at first, I wrote it as a song, but some may find this interesting.

Haven't you noticed that everything dies?

Tip your head back and close your eyes

This will be your demise, surrounded by the ones you despise

Mercy would come as a surprise

If the demons should weep

A promise I'll keep

I'll hold you close

Until tomorrow

As the day draws to a close

The livelier your heartbeat

You'll never hear the sun speak

As they tell you no,

You always will be the weak link

I promise you

I will be true

I'll hold you

All the way through

Every night

I will fight

To make sure you sleep tight

Hold on this might get messy

Every secret I'll keep

Never speak a word of them

Your hate makes me weep

A murder, I'll fulfill them

With a past no one could understand

And I thought I was the broken one

A wall that blocks out the sun

I won't rest until the deed is done

If the demons should weep

A promise I'll keep

I'll hold you close

Until tomorrow

As the day draws to a close

The livelier your heartbeat

You'll never hear the sun speak

As they tell you no,

You always will be the weak link

They don't know what you've been through

I'll try my hardest to mend you

A promise I will keep

As every word you speak

It helps me sleep

Those words are "I love you"

If the demons should weep

A promise I'll keep

I'll hold you close

Until tomorrow

As the day draws to a close

The livelier your heartbeat

For then you hear the sun speak

It shines for you, and me
