Feeling so hollow

And so incomplete,

So hard to swallow,

I can’t even eat.

So anxious to meet

What I hold in my womb,

But that tiny heartbeat

Has gone very soon.

Never had a chance

To put a smile on my face,

Now it’s just a memory

That will be hard to erase.

Is it my fault?

To ask this I must,

Is this the result?

Of something unjust?

Now I’m alone

There’s no life, I believe…

My sorrow has grown

But when would it leave?

How clueless was I

That I didn’t feel,

Something’s not right

Now how do I heal?

No matter the place,

Forever I’ll hold,

Your invisible face

Deep in my soul.

Forgive me I tried

I don’t know what went wrong,

I’m empty inside

Still stuck to this song.
