If Grandpa says so, it must be true; poem, sort of.

There's a Gobbler in Magic Meadow

My Grandpa says, "It's a natural fact!"

It likes to eat those things in the sky

But the Gobbler wife grows them back.

"Just watch the sky," he tells me,

"The Gobbler eats the Moon!

He nibbles on clouds, like that is allowed,

Then drinks from the Magic Lagoon."

There are times that I'd like to believe him

But there are times when he's fooling around.

"The proof is in the pudding," Grandma says,

So I investigated. --- Do you know what I found?

There IS a Gobbler in Magic Meadow

And it ate some stuff last night!

The Moon was gone and clouds were too

But the stars in the heavens did all right

'cause they were shinning oh so bright.
