Unspoken

What words would you say if the consequences did not matter? You were controlling and rude! I don’t believe in you? You constantly critique others including your daughters. We are this way because of you.

You have confined my spirit enough for a lifetime. You have cut me down and belittled my value. In return I recreated this cycle because it is all that I knew. The days of mean are over for me.

The allowance of this behavior has stopped. I should love you; but only feel anger. How dare you put a decent person down while you sit on your throne remembering your “Glory Days”.

You have no right to speak to me in that tone anymore. If that means walking away; then I choose alone. A dysfunctional together is not where I want to stay.

Time is passing more quickly now, The chances to repair what you have broken are few and far between.
