Broken glass all around,

Many shards and fragments,

Shards of a man,

But his soul is absent,

Each piece tells a story,

But who’d dare to listen,

Blood red are the fragments,

In the sun light the glisten,

Should they trample the pieces,

Ignoring the crunch,

Or bloody their fingers,

By picking them up,

A painful sacrifice,

To attempt reconstruct,

Or dance with the broom,

Till they’re under the rug,

Still who broke this glass,

Does the glass even matter,

Was it malice or karma,

That caused it to shatter,

Maybe cursed was the glass,

An unfortunate end,

Or perhaps an escape,

For the soul trapped within,
