I like to consider myself a Marvel fan. I enjoy the movies, but I do own several comics. I also feel that when it comes to the comics I'm indifferent towards them, for example they can come up with a cool storyline or a major event and for me I think it's intreasting, but I move on from it. For me I can just go on their twitter account and see what they are doing, and that just does it for me. And then there are the ones who know about everything going on.

The fanboys or girls are the ones that get excited over a comic arc, movie, and just enjoy themselves. They are the one's who cosplay the characters, know any comic book trivia and are just happy about being in their element. Although there is fun there also have to be people who suck the fun out of everything. These are the "fans" that I like to call the SJWs, because when it comes to any fanbase there always have to be the ones that nitpick everything. These "fans" can always be found on Tumblr or Twitter crying over how this character was not treated right, or how the MCU is taking to long for a female solo film.

Usually the ones that I see are on Tumblr thankfully I don't follow anyone of them, because they always seem to think that whatever Marvel does is a personal attack on them. For example two years ago Marvel created Superior Iron Man, which was Tony Stark being evil and you would think it was the end of the world on Tumblr, because they could not accept that Tony was evil and Marvel was so horrible for doing this. Also last year it was revealed that all along Captain America was a Hydra agent, which every Social Media website went crazy for when the comic came out, but the ones that really lost it were the people on Tumblr. For me I understand why people whould be upset, because of who created Captain America and what was going on during that time, but for people to send Nick Spencer death threats is a huge low. There were people who started #SayNoToHydraCap as if that was going to make a difference to what was going on in the story.

Speaking of hashtags last year when Captain America Civil War came out, there happened to be fangirls whe wanted Captain America to have a boyfriend so #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend came about, it always seems like these days two men can't be friends without it being sexualized. It will always seem like the can be a no win situation with Marvel, there will always be fans who want this or that. I believe there wil always be true fans who stick to Marvel no matter what.
