This is a very short story that I wrote a few days ago. It's kind of dark/ creepy, but I hope that whoever reads this will like it.

Poison. My last day on Earth, and only Gabby, the barmaid knows it. Gabby is the only person I can trust to kill me. And here's the best part: Celia doesn't know. Celia, who has made the last five years a living hell for me and millions of other people.

Celia always has people watching me. "Protecting" me. But her guard is smaller than usual. She had to send out additional forces to control the rebellions. As a result, Celia is one of the people watching me tonight. That's why I chose tonight. Why I asked Gabby to give me my tea in a blue teacup. Why I asked her to put limes instead of lemons on the plate. Celia will know that I am going to die tonight. She will know that she can't stop it.

Gabby makes her way across the crowded room to my table. She hands me my tea, and a pained expression crosses her face. I begin to panic, but she turns so that only I can see it. I mouth the words "Thank you", and sheleaves to help another customer.

I glare out the window, hoping that Celia sees me, and take a sip of my tea.

And nothing happens. No pain erupts in my throat. Has someone else recieved the poison? I look for Gabby, but I can't find her.

I hear the click of Celia's ring against my necklace before I feel her hand on my shoulder.

"Enjoying your tea, little sister?"
