I hold in my hand a simple rose

This rose which bleeds

It’s full of pain

All from evil deeds

This rose was once a part of me

It used to be all of love

It used to be so whole

But now I am free of

Well I hope it burns

I’ll throw it away!

Pluck off every petal

It’s just a memory…

If I wanted to die everyday

To live in such a horror

I’d stab myself with a knife!

And scream for the bloody mirror

I’m done I say

With this here rose

This rose which holds tears and scars

Too much pain it holds

If I could separate from this devil

Oh you bet I would

But this rose keeps me alive

Intentions meant for good
