"Only Human"

By Christian Taylor

So many faces,

So many personalities,

So many characters,

No one is the same.

Hey, Hi, Yo, Sup,

Different voices, hair, skin color, eyes,

A piece of the puzzle,

For what makes you.

Perfection is nonexistant,

Forgetful we all are of that.

Mistakes abound.

Perfect you are not.

Sticks and stones may break bones,

Actions speak louder than words,

Words pack a punch,

Choices we make.

Only human we are,

Perfection unattainable,

Strive for the best verison of you,

Never appear perfect.

Only human,

Acknowledge people are different,

Love each other,

Hate lets not.

Only human,

Never perfect,

Never will.

Remember.
