It is from certain experiences why I wrote this poem.

You go to sleep,

And your double has free time.

You drift off, but never too deep,

To keep your double in line.

For in daytime, it is held fast,

Then when you nod off, the chance is there.

To escape at last,

To travel here, there, and everywhere.

Over great oceans and vast distances,

All these are just a piece of cake.

The double is gone, I can give so many instances,

That it cannot travel when you're awake.

Sometimes it gets itself into trouble,

In difficulties where there's no help.

That invisible self of yours--your double,

Comes back so suddenly and make you yelp.
