He’s got the gentleman’s disease, a clean suit and the shoes to match; says things like—the sun rises when you wake, and the stars go swimming in your eyes

He’s got the gentleman’s disease, a lover’s mouth and a musician’s hands; the smile he wears could charm a snake, and he knows which buttons he should press, and every tune to which you’ll dance

He’s got the gentleman’s disease, a look to stir the hornet’s nest

When he moves you hear the drums beating in tandem with your pulse

He’s got the gentleman’s disease, and a thousand hearts rest at his feet; he’s got the world in his back pocket, all ripe and ready to be picked

He’s got the gentleman’s disease, a subtle flair for gallantry; he is extravagant with his affection, and there are no limits he won’t push

He’s got the gentleman’s disease, a chest wide open and a tender eye; he reserves his heart only for love, and sees just beauty in your face—never observing any hatred or jealousies you hide beneath

He’s got the gentleman’s disease, was born to give, was born to please

He’s got the gentleman’s disease, and he’ll serve you down on bended knees
