Mutilate My Mind.

My sense of equilibrium is entirely shot,

for ignoring confrontations, I can really not.

One of you just threatens, the other then reacts,

I know it’s hard to work out just what are the real facts.

But one thing that I do know -- we need closure in a hurry

for this constant escalation is just causing so much worry.

The whole world is on tenterhooks, watching the next move

and no one is expecting that things will work out smooth.

My sense of future’s vanished, along with all my ease,

waiting for the next move in this maddening dis-ease.

Maybe I should close my eyes, plug up both my ears,

ignoring every bit of news that muddles with my fears.

I think I just can’t do that now, that I am going to find

that you two are determined that you’ll mutilate my mind.
