Batwoman is a superheroine appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. In all incarnations, the character is a wealthy heiress who becomes inspired by the superhero Batman and chooses, like him, to put her wealth and resources towards a war on crime as a masked vigilante in her home of Gotham City.

Kim is Batwoman. When her hero "Batman", "The Man Who Loved Women", invited her out on a "Blind Date". She learned to know the man behind the mask during "9½ Weeks". Then, he disappeared suddenly in the night of Gotham City. That's when she decided to follow his footsteps and become Batwoman. Gotham City at night is a "Cool World". It's "Fifty Shades Darker" than New York, and "The Nice Guys" are married with children and stay home. Gotham City used to be the city with the highest crime rate of the country before the arrival of Batman. Kim wants to make it the safest city of the whole country. On a "Black November" "While She Was Out", "The Door in the Floor" was forced open, and burglars got into her apartment. They stole her lipstick, cosmetic compacts, charm bracelets, and hair nets. Or if you want, all her weapons.

She was specifically created to be a love interest for Batman. Don't tell Kim, she will get upset to learn the truth. Eve, the first woman, got very upset when she learned she was created from Adam and as his companion. Mythology was written by men. If it was written by women; it would tell a completely different story. The battle of the sex exists also in the Comics, beside the Genesis.

When she was introduced to the public; she was depicted in a certain way by the mayor of Gotham City.

"There's only one Batman! That's been said many times and has always been true, for no other man has ever rivaled Batman as a champion of the law, nor matched his superb acrobatic skill, his scientific keenness, his mastery of disguise and detective skill! But now, in one suspenseful surprise after another, Batman finds he has a great rival in the mysterious and glamorous girl... The Batwoman!"

She was not Batman's rival. She had been her lover "9½ Weeks", and was her biggest fan. The mayor and the press wanted it to be a rivalry. They wanted a story that impacted and fascinated the public. They wanted to sell the image of Gotham City through the image of Batman and Batwoman. People made up stories about her and Batman. It was all lies. The biggest lie was the following story: she was introduced as a love interest for Batman in order to combat the allegations of Batman's homosexuality arising from the controversial book Seduction of the Innocent. Books were written about them without their authorization, and published. They were all filled with fake stories, to sell big. This is why Batman and Batwoman never read anything written about them in the press. A witness even maintained he heard Batwoman say to someone:

"My Stepmother Is an Alien"

The next day, it was in all the papers and on the news. It's a nonsense, she was not even married. Kim had only one thing to say about all this mess built around her persona:

"We need to listen more, to hear the silence and live in it."

Instead of listening to the press, the news, and the mayor of Gotham City.

"I'm a very determined person." "I love to see somebody who wants to be the best they can be."

She wanted to be a role model for people. She wanted them to follow her footsteps and fight crimes, instead of talking and gossiping about her relationship with Batman.

"I say when the truth wants to find you or wants to be found by you, it will come after you. You cannot stop that force."

She tried to inspire people to give them a deeper meaning in their life. But the tabloids made it all so superficial and vain.

"When I'm old I'm never going to say, I didn't do this or, I regret that. I'm going to say, I don't regret a damn thing. I came, I went, and I did it all."

It's her way to say what Julius Caesar said more than two thousand years ago: veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered).

"So, goodnight Kim. "Hail, Caesar!", Hail Batman!, and Hail, Batwoman!"
