Letting go is the hardest part of living,

It's that first sling when you know you have to that brings all the pain to you.

It's trying to delete them out of your life and finding yourself looking at all the old pictures of them instead.

It's the withdrawls you have when you look at your phone screen and you have a message but it's not from the person you want it to be.

It's that empty soft slow pain that stays in the pit of your stomach every second your not with them.

Until at some point you break down and send them a message just to get the same simple, generic reply.

You cry, and you pray and you try so fucking hard to walk away.

But, in the end, letting go is so hard not because your fighting them, but because your fighting all the good memories you have that you can't seem to let go of.

Because once upon a time they were your everything.

But, in reality... all you want them to do is stay.
