A short poem, it hurt too much to make it longer.

I’m not the best husband,

Nor have I ever professed to be,

Perhaps I’m worse than I thought,

Beyond my complexity,

The mirror said I was decent,

Good at the least,

Could this mirror be lying?

Am I more like a beast?

Have I obsessed over my own dissatisfaction,

So much so that it made me ugly?

Should I be more upset with myself?

Is it my fault she doesn’t love me?
